Access to safe water is foundational to the development of any community. 

Safe and reliable water restores hope and unlocks potential.   Every day in rural communities throughout the world, millions of people suffer from a lack of access to clean water.  Globally, 1 in 9 people still have no access to clean water.  In the communities we serve, it's 10 out of 10. 

Water is a crippling daily challenge. Without water food cannot grow, housing cannot be built, people cannot stay healthy, students cannot stay in school and people cannot work.  Without access to clean and safe water, children spend time every day collecting water that often makes them sick and keeps them from school. With clean water, everything changes - time is reclaimed, health improves, and futures open up: all because of monthly donors.  

When you give to BFC Welfare, 100% of your donation goes directly to funding water solutions in rural communities. We won’t stop until everyone, everywhere has access to clean water. Our monthly giving community, helps us do just that.  Our water projects are led locally, and community-owned. We deploy your donations to the field, where our volunteers and partners go to work rehabilitating old water systems, building new ones, or completing sanitation and hygiene training.
